bite the hand that feeds one
Google: This phrase means that you act badly toward the person who is helping or has helped you. When you bite the hand that feeds you, you are being unthankful, ungrateful, unappreciative. And that is a lot of “un” words. In other words, you turn against, attack, and even harm someone who is helping you

(the underlying or ultimate outcome or criterion.) The bottom line is, the project failed. The bottom line is that we need another ten thousand dollars to complete the project. (the final total of an account, balance sheet, or other financial document.) I’m sure the initiative will have a positive impact on our company’s bottom line.
bottom of it, at the/get to the: To discover the origin of a problem, or the fundamental truth of an issue or event. to get to the bottom of something , to scrape the bottom of the barrel : 1. to get to the bottom of something. To get to the bottom of something 2. to scrape the bottom of the barrel(溪注:瘸子裡邊挑將軍,湊合著用) To scrape 就是 “刮”. At first only young, healthy, single men were taken for military service. But the war lasted so long they had to scrape the bottom of the barrel and take married men and older men with all sorts of health problems.

pull all the stops
This term comes from organ-playing, where it means “bring into play every rank of pipes,” thereby creating the fullest possible sound. It has been used figuratively since about 1860. Use all the resources or force at one's disposal, as in The police pulled out all the stops to find the thief.

Achilles: “My mother Thetis tells me that there are two ways in which I may meet my end. If I stay here and fight, I shall not return alive but my name will live for ever: whereas if I go home my name will die, but it will be long ere death shall take me.” (The Iliad, Book IX)

Talk to the hand 『"我懶得聽,不想和你說啦"』 "Talk to the hand" (or "tell it to the hand") is a slang phrase associated with the 1990s. It originated as a sarcastic way of saying one does not want to hear what the person who is speaking is saying. It is often elongated to a phrase such as "Talk to the hand, because the ears ain't listening" or "Talk to the hand, because the face ain't listening."

小明說有個朋友要跟他借錢,小紅聽說後,及時制止了小明,說道:「I advise you not to lend money to him because he never pays back the money. He is a bad egg!」

比如形容「永无止尽的、徒劳的」的sisyphean(来源于西西弗斯触怒众神而被罚推石头的故事)、形容「自恋」的narcissism(来源于美少年那喀索斯爱上自己倒影的故事)、形容「灾祸之源」的Pandora’s box(来源于打开魔盒、放出邪灵的潘多拉的故事)、形容「最后杰作、绝笔」的swan song(希腊神话中,阿波罗的神鸟天鹅只会在死前歌唱)等等。
