ZT Jacqueline Mary du Pré, OBE (26 January 1945 – 19 October 1987) was an English cellist. At a young age, she achieved enduring mainstream popularity unusual for a classical performer. Despite her short career, she is regarded as one of the most talented cellists of the second half of the twentieth century.
Du Pré is most famous for her iconic recording of Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, her interpretation of which has been described as "definitive" and "legendary".

Hilary and Jackie Trailer
(Hilary and Jackie)

An old poem of mine... FROM SEASHORE ------ “What she told you?” …… ------ “He asked me to marry him.” “You can’t. You don’t need to marry him.” “But he loves me and I love him.” “Why?” “Because he makes me feel special.” “You can’t marry him.” “Why?” “Because the truth is you are not special.” “If you think the life of an ordinary person is less happier than an extraordinary one, then you are wrong.” ------ “You are a special person.” ------ “Jackie, Jackie……” “Leave me alone. You don’t love me” …… “This is ridiculous.” “But she is my sister.” …… …… ------ “I don’t know what she wants. You know what she wants?” “No. Not really.” ------ …… “I gave you everything!” …… ------ “I can’t stand up.” ------ “She doesn’t want to see me.” …… ------ “Everything will be all right.” …… ------ “……died yesterday, 42, …….” “Stop the car. Stop the car!” …… TO GOLDEN LAND ------ “Jackie, remember, everything will be all right.” ...... “What she told you?” ------ ......
