我刚google, 抄下来(http://bit.ly/1UsiXJO): "She disguised the smell of her decaying flesh by rubbing crushed eucalyptus leaves all over her body". “ --- wiki

www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=541“Monarch Butterfly Natural Preserve-A Welcoming Winter Home The park's Monarch Grove provides a temporary home for up to 100,000 Monarchs. From late fall into winter, the Monarchs form a "city in the trees." The area's mild seaside climate and eucalyptus grove provide a safe place for monarchs to roost until spring. In the spring and summer, the butterflies live in the valley regions west of the Rocky Mountains where the monarch's companion plant, milkweed, is found. For most of the year, where there are monarchs, there are also milkweed plants. Monarchs drink nectar from milkweed flowers, and female monarchs lay their eggs on milkweed leaves. Milkweed contains a toxin that, when ingested by the caterpillar, makes it toxic to other animals. These toxins remain in the butterfly as well, providing protection from predators that would otherwise eat the monarchs. ” milliontrees.me/2013/11/01/monarch-butterflies-in-california-need-eucalyptus-trees-for-their-winter-roost/Eucalypts are the preferred trees for over-wintering monarchs: “Three types of trees were used most frequently by roosting monarchs: eucalyptus (75% of the habitats primarily Eucalyptus globulus), pine (20% of the habitats primarily Pinus radiata), and cypress (16% of the habitats Cupressus macrocarpa). Twelve other tree species were identified…with a combined prevalence of only 10%.”

Butterfly Dream -- To My Friends by Immanuel
my dream grows in April by June it rests between the azure sky and blue water like a dove, gazing at the glorious snow like a mountain, solid and eternal
wings finally come out and fruits are borne on a Mexican evening after some winters, a northward journey takes flight their diamond hearts unfold blossoms dancing for tomorrow, for love
come, in the quiet night in a faraway land

M'Lynn: I find it amusing. Men are supposed to be made out of steel or something. I just sat there. I just held Shelby's hand. There was no noise, no tremble, just peace. Oh god. I realize as a woman how lucky I am. I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life.
M'Lynn: I'm fine! I can jog all the way to Texas and back, but my daughter can't! She never could! Oh God! I am so mad I don't know what to do! I wanna know why! I wanna know *why* Shelby's life is over! I wanna know how that baby will *ever* know how wonderful his mother was! Will he *ever* know what she went through for him! Oh *God* I wanna know *why*? *Why*? Lord, I wish I could understand!
M'Lynn: No! No! No! It's not supposed to happen this way! I'm supposed to go first. I've always been ready to go first! I-I don't think I can take this! I-I don't think I can take this! I-I just wanna *hit* somebody 'til they feel as bad as I do! I just wanna hit something! I wanna hit it hard!

What a lovely speech! Thank you for sharing, my friend. One viewer's comment: I've always adored Shirley's great talent. She can make you laugh and she can make you cry, thus impelling you to believe that the character she is playing is not a character but rather a REAL PERSON going through drama & trauma, hilarity & madness, joy & sadness, and there is nothing that she cannot do. In my humble opinion she is the STORY TELLER OF ORDINARY MORTALS WE OFTEN REFER TO AS HUMAN BEINGS. ( by ZadZadrack)
