访戴天山道士不遇 – 李白
犬吠水声中,桃花带露浓。 树深时见鹿,溪午不闻钟。 野竹分青霭,飞泉挂碧峰。 无人知所去,愁倚两三松。
A Verse by Li Bai (The Taoist of Mt. Daitian is Away as I Call on)
The barking of dogs the clear creeks resound, A pearly-dewy peach petals surround. At times, deep in woods I spot springing deer, Creekside, no noon-tolling reaches mine ear. The bamboos pierce the brume into the blue, The flying falls drape the green alp in view. To where the Taoist hath roamed none could know, Upon the pine trees is leaning my woe.

A Missed Visit to A Daoist Master at Mt. Dai-Tian By Li Bai
A dog's yap blends with gurgling waters blue Peach blossoms are laden with heavy dew Deer in deep woods now an' then come into sight At noon bells fail to reach the creek anew Through the purple mists cuts the wild bamboo Like veils the flying falls the green peaks strew Where the master has gone it's anyone's guess Leaning against pine trees sorrows accrue
